23-24 XYZ 157 CHOPSTICKS

Sale price¥177,100

A split model named from Alex Yoder Zigzag "XYZ CHOPSTICKS" 20-21 season, a bottom locker that was re-newly aged.

The XYZ chopstick, which is integrated in the "All -Mountain Freestyle", makes deep carving and smooth glide easier to approach not only the ski slopes side country, but also the remote and untouched slopes. It is a board that you want to enjoy a combination of accelerator camber and roundtail that creates a feeling that is different from the Mantaray family.

* We recommend that you set the stance according to each interface.

I bought this as a touring board but have found it to be such a sick ride, that I've used it far more than my other boards this year when riding in-bounds as well. First up as a splitboard this offers great edgehold and fits nicely in the skin track when ascending, seems to have just the right weighting for easy kickturns. Going back down the all-mountain shape offers great versatility for control in icy wind scoured alpine regions, shines in the deep powder you made the climb for, and also performs well through the trees on the way back to the trailhead. What surprised me most about this board was how much fun I had on days when I rode it in-bounds in preference to my existing boards. It is a load of fun to put on rail on a fresh groomer, and eats up deep powder days and tree runs just as well. So much so that I am seriously considering adding an XY to the quiver... but where this board really makes me smile is those deep days in the sidecountry where you know you packed the skins in the backpack, and the snow is just that good that you go an extra ridge or two that most others can't, safe in the knowledge that it won't be much effort to get home :)
